UM Research Webinar Series is a webinar series organized by Centre of Research Services (PPP) in collaboration with various internal or external agencies with the aims: i) to provide useful information, knowledge and skills for research enhancement and academic career development; ii) to expose researchers to a wide range of current and emerging topics, trends and technology in research, and opportunities for research and career development; and iii) to encourage and motivate researchers to continually progress towards research excellence.
At this moment, the webinar series are held bi-monthly and for the 12th UM Research Webinar, PPP has invited Prof. Dato' Dr. Nik Muhamad Nik Ab Majid from Former Chairman Research Cluster Natural Resources and Heritage, Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia to give a talk on “How To Write A Winning Scientific Research Proposal”. The session was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chai Lay Ching from Institute of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, UM and attended by 150 participants locally and internationally.
